Hey All, Firefox 15 beta 2 is FAST

Im on Firefox beta 2 and I havent tweaked it at all (except the previous “fasters then opera tweak) and pages are loading REALLY FAST, it may just because my cable provider updated the speed (things were a little sluggis for awhile) or it may be the new Beta 2.

Think of this as a reminder Beta 2 is out!

(21:38:09) MooGamerMoo: G4 shooting itself
(21:38:41) MooGamerMoo: G4 is counting on “Man Show” to provide a strong lead-in to the network’s most popular original series, “X-Play,” featuring irreverent reviews of the latest videogames by Morgan Webb and Adam Sessler, which will continue to run every weeknight at 11.
(21:38:53) MooGamerMoo: Why do you need X-Play to get more viewers?
(21:38:59) MooGamerMoo: It has the most on the network already
(21:39:26) MooGamerMoo: I find that funny that how G4 bought TechTV all they wanted was X-Play

Google + Podcasting

Google - A cool website that knows where you live, makes a app/web app for everything, search engine.

Podcasting- the Web-based broadcast of music which works with software that automatically detects new files and is accessed by subscription

“Google is going to come along, I think, In the next couple of weeks” ~ Leo Laporte

I agree Leo,
I probabbly would know but I dont think my cousin (who works at google) is allowed to tell me anything. this is my opinion:

They created RSS compatability in the google homepage

to me that was the first clue…………

That post that could be about ANYTHING!

Basic Opinion on Crap!

“Hot Coffee”
I loved GTA: San Andreas, i still do ( i own a copy for the ps2) and before the hot coffe mod I had fun shooting the crap outta everyone. A little sex Not in good graphics……could be cheap porn shown on Cinemax at night!?!?! since when does that make a big deal. I spent my time blowing up cops with cheats and a bazooka, setting up contraptions of DEATH and a little bad sex makes the game horrible? I knew about sex when I was FIVE I learned it from my fellow KINDERGARDEN friends HOLY CRAP if kids can know about sex in kindergarden ( I didnt learn from parnts, from others) then why is sex in a game so bad.

“Sky High”
I just have something to say about this movie……..IT APPEALS TO NO ONE AND WILL DO BAD IN THE BOX OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats it ( :) )

Nintendo’s “Revolution”
(keep in mind Im a nintendo fanboy and I want the new damn consle cause I love innovation :P )
LET ME KNOW WHAT THE REVOLUTION IS ALREADY! YOUVE SEEN THE HOAXES AND THE LOYAL FANS CRAVING IT! WE WANT IT! WE WANT IT! ALL THE REVOLUTION BE SHOWN TO US (all your base are belong to us ;) for all you n00bs)

“Podcasting”
I have a podcast and I enjoy doing it in my spare time………the growth of podcasting in amazing……I cannot wait to see what the future hold for it and its just awesome.

IPTV/VidBloggin’/WebCamCast(my invention((sorta)))
IPTV - A online t.v. styled show.

VidBloggin’ - In full, Video Blogging, Blogging on a video

WebCamCast-Can be Either IPTV or Video Blogging the twist is its filmed with a webcam.

I love IPTV, Video Blog’s are great if you dont like to read,WebCamCasting is just fun

“The Island” Crapping out in the box office
The movie looked good for me……but I HAD to see charlie and the chocolate factory :P (what I wanted to compare it to the original! ((scroll down for more)))
And probablly why it crapped out was because the trailer gave us NO IDEA of whaqt the movie was about……just alot of action sequences and “The Perfect Lie” yah it gave away a little but not everything to get us intrested.

Compare Charlie and the chocolate factory to the original
I love them both equally, thats all Ill say.

That about ends my little artivle on my opinions. I should make my podcast more like this. leave comments.

Microsoft claims Longhorn will be, er, faster

The only reason why its faster is they added a superfetch feature to the prefetcher. If you look at the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\Prefetcher

you will notice in windows xp

EnablePrefetcher = 3 and you will notice in windows longhorn
EnableSuperfetch = 1

Well, guess what? You can put the EnableSuperfetch = 1 in windows xp and get the same speed.

Wow, Microsoft just added a feature that was already there in xp.

Sky OS

SkyOS is an operating system written from scratch for x86 PC’s. As required for a modern operating system, it supports features such as multiprocessor support (SMP), virtual memory, memory protection, multitasking and threading etc. Additionally, SkyOS has a built-in GUI system named SkyGI. All features of the OS will be explained later in detail.

Welcome to the Longhorn Wave ( I love this site, great longhorn info.)

Though still years away from completion, interest in Longhorn, the next major Windows release, is growing at a fevered pitch. So in response to reader requests, I’ve created this Longhorn Activity Center, a front-end to all of the Longhorn-related content I’ve created for the SuperSite for Windows and other publications, including WinInfo and Windows IT Pro Magazine. From this single handy page, you’ll be able to access all of the reviews, the photo galleries, the movies, the technology showcases, and the Longhorn FAQ, and even articles I’ve written elsewhere. I’ll be updating this Activity Center regularly going forward, ensuring that it’s always up-to-date with the content you can only get here. Bookmark it today!

I, myself, cant wait for longhorn, i want it to come out soooooooooooo bad (even though i dont ahve the best machine) I cant wait.

Open Office (alternitive to the EVIL microsoft)

Mission Statement

To create, as a community, the leading international office suite that will run on all major platforms and provide access to all functionality and data through open-component based APIs and an XML-based file format.

Historical background

StarDivision, the original author of the StarOffice suite of software, was founded in Germany in the mid-1980s. It was acquired by Sun Microsystems during the summer of 1999 and StarOffice 5.2 was released in June of 2000. Future versions of StarOffice software, beginning with 6.0, have been built using the OpenOffice.org source, APIs, file formats, and reference implementation. Sun continues to sponsor development on OpenOffice.org and is the primary contributor of code to OpenOffice.org. CollabNet hosts the website infrastructure for development of the product and helps manage the project.

The OpenOffice.org source code includes the technology which Sun Microsystems has been developing for the future versions of StarOffice(TM) software. The source is written in C++ and delivers language-neutral and scriptable functionality, including Java(TM) APIs. This source technology introduces the next-stage architecture, allowing use of the suite as separate applications or as embedded components in other applications. Numerous other features are also present including XML-based file formats and other resources.

A FAQ addresses the changing differences between OpenOffice.org and StarOffice.
